art and nature in chianti

The Chianti Sculpture Park is an ideal destination for art and nature lovers or for those seeking something different in the Chianti area. The visit is suitable for people of all ages and is done on foot along a path of about 1 km.

The park consists of a permanent exhibition of contemporary installations and sculptures. The main feature of the park is the integration of art and nature.

Artists from all five continents and different materials have been selected to provide visitors with an overview of the variety and importance of contemporary art in today’s world.

Inside the park, an amphitheater has been created where concerts of classical music, jazz, opera, tango, and other musical genres alternate during the months of July and August. The performances take place every Tuesday evening starting at 7:00 PM, a time when the sun disappears behind the stage and the soft light of the sunset creates a magical atmosphere.
