Artesia
Monica & Cinzia begin their journey by learning the art of maiolica decoration in Montelupo Fiorentino, directly from the skilled artisans of the Tuscan tradition, in a traditional workshop setting. After gaining extensive experience, they establish “Artesia, a workshop of handmade ceramics,” located in the ancient medieval village of Certaldo.

Ceramic Decoration Courses Individual and group ceramic decoration courses (maximum 10 people). Each lesson lasts a minimum of 2 hours, and the cost is €30 per person excluding VAT. The courses are open to beginners, art students, and families (the course is suitable for children above the age of 5). Participants keep the pieces they create during the course, and we recommend booking the lesson during the first few days of your stay in Tuscany, so you can collect the creations after firing. When: Lessons are held every day (excluding Saturdays and Sundays), with the schedule to be agreed upon. Please book at least two days in advance.
